Baba means “Father” in Yoruba, Kisawhili, Arabic, Turkish, Farsi; many believe this correlation of language roots from the belief or theory that Yoruba was the first language widely used in the world. It is also believed that Afrikans from Yorubaland, split off and settled in many different lands, thus they adapted to the land (Physically, spiritually, and Culturally) and creating their own cultures by adding or taking to/from the one they already had.
BONUS: In Japanese “Baba” means mother or grandmother! Powerful stuff!
